About C1B1
What Is the C1B1 Summit?
C1B1 is a leadership and empowerment summit created by The SOFEI Group to connect women and girls of color with accomplished women who can expand their view of what is possible.
The summit brings together women from diverse professions, industries, and life experiences to share their journeys, knowledge, challenges, and lessons learned.
Through candid conversations, panel discussions, networking, and exposure to visible role models, participants gain access to perspectives and possibilities they may not encounter in their everyday environments.
C1B1 is grounded in a simple idea: when women and girls can see possibility represented in other women, they can more readily imagine new possibilities for themselves.
Why C1B1 Exists
Representation Expands Possibility.
Talent and ambition are not always accompanied by access, exposure, or opportunity.
Women and girls may have the ability to lead, build businesses, pursue new careers, participate in civic life, or create change without having direct access to people who have already traveled those paths. C1B1 helps close that exposure gap by bringing accomplished women into the same room with women and girls who can learn from their experiences, ask questions, build relationships, and see additional possibilities for their own futures.
