The SOFEI Group extends its gratitude and thanks for your tax-deductible investment, which fuels our work to empower women throughout the Washington region to emerge from economic instability through education, training, and development.

Many women can experience poverty during their lifespan due to a job loss, illness, divorce, spousal abandonment, domestic violence, or sole parenting.  And, contrary to the beliefs society tries to impose, all women who experience poverty are not lazy or irresponsible.  They're educated, loving, independent, responsible, and devoted women who have experienced hardship that shattered their pride, but not their spirit.
