The C1B1 Summit is an educational event designed to bridge business and career excellence among women and girls of color.


Cocktails for Charity 

Cocktails for Charity is an annual fundraising event filled with Flair, Food, Fellowship and Fun at our Alexandria or National Harbor training location. Event proceeds create stipends for women to use towards our training or certification exams. Stipends are distributed based on eligibility.


InFuseHer 

Is a series of events where women connect to network and exchange information about business, career, and economic attainment, evolvement, and stability.  These events are facilitated via Monday Morning Minutes, Economic Empowerment Soirees', InFuseHer forums, seminars, or dinners.


NOMORE64

According to the External link opens in new tab or windowNational Women's Law Center, African American women working full-time, year round are typically paid 64 cents for every dollar paid to their white, non-Hispanic male counterparts, and African American women experience a wage gap at every education level.  The widest wage gap is among women with the least education.  NOMORE64 ™ is an economic equity forum created to address and decrease the trend of wage inequality among women of color throughout the Washington region.


Philanthropy in Your Community Reception

An annual reception held in November (National Philanthropy Month) to showcase the impact individuals and/or businesses have made in the lives of women through nonprofit organizations based in the Washington region. Honorees will receive The Philanthropist in Action Award.
